I'm Helen, the dyslexia assessor and specialist tutor at Decoding Dyslexia. I am passionate about helping children and adults with dyslexia and literacy difficulties unlock their full potential. My goal is to empower families, educators and learners with the knowledge and tools needed to build confidence and thrive both academically and beyond.
Home Educated?
As a home educator myself, I have a deep understanding of the unique nature of home education and the flexibility it offers. This insight allows me to tailor the assessment experience to suit your child’s learning environment, making it relaxed, relevant and accessible. I know the right questions to ask parents and carers to build a full picture of your child’s needs, ensuring that the diagnosis is accurate and truly reflective of their experience. My recommendations are carefully written with home education in mind, offering practical, personalised strategies that fit naturally into your family’s approach to learning.
I provide dyslexia assessments for children and adults.
